This tour is a journey through the Roman past of Barcelona and is designed to discover the colony Iulia Augusta Faventia Paterna Barcino, founded by emperor Augustus in 10 bc.

The unexpected sight of the ruins of the temple in honor of Emperor Augustus, the remains of the aqueducts, Roman walls and cemetery provide evidence of the city’s Roman past. You can simply absorb its atmosphere by wandering around its narrow streets, feeling the sense of history.

We will complete our tour exploring the Museum of History of the city. The visit of the undergrounds of the museum allow to stroll through the street of the Roman Barcelona, get closer to the wall , or to a laundry or dying workshop, admiring the remains of the first Christian community of the city.
