TERMS AND CONDITIONS

All purchases made through this website are subject to the following Terms & Conditions. In any and all bookings, the person making the booking shall be deemed to have accepted these conditions on behalf of the guest(s) named in the booking. No variation to these Terms & Conditions shall be of any effect unless made in writing by and with the authority of the company.

TOUR GUIDE SERVICE

All tours are are fulfilled and provided by our local tour guides, officially licensed by local authorities to perform a private guiding service in their respective area.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is provided by licensed insured professional drivers, with air-conditioned Luxury vehicle like Mercedes car, luxury minivan or luxury bus, qualified to perform public transportation services all over Europe.

Drivers hired by UNICA Barcelona Tours are service providers and they do not belong to UNICA Barcelona Tours or Jaime Burgada Canales.

TERMS OF PAYMENT

We accept payment by:

Paypal Secure System (adding 4% commission)


Money transfer

Credit Card (only Visa and Mastercard)

UNICA Barcelona Tours requires pre-payment in order to secure your reservation.

Final balance will be paid one week before the tour or at the end of it. Once we receive the payment we will e-mail you the booking voucher valid as final confirmation with all details about pick-up and timings.

LIABILITY

UNICA Barcelona Tours is not responsible for any accident regarding theft, damages, for any belongings or objects forgotten or other irregularity during the course of our tours.

UNICA Barcelona Tours is not responsible for reduced/cancelled itineraries due to circumstances beyond our control such as flight delays, ships unable to dock for whatever reason or unscheduled closures of tourist sites.

UNICA Barcelona Tours is not responsible for any sickness, labour disputes, machinery breakdown, government restrains, acts of war/terrorism or any misadventure beyond our control. Therefore, adequate insurance is strongly advised.

DELAYS ON TOURS

Customer will be asked to arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes prior to the start of the tour.  If you are running late or need assistance in finding the meeting point, please call the emergency number provided on your voucher. In case of any delay by the customer, the tour will end at the time as confirmed on the voucher. The guide will wait for clients for 30minutes. If client won’t show up nor inform the guide about the delay, UNICA Barcelona Tours won’t be responsible for any claim of refund or even partial refund.

All UNICA Barcelona Tours are sold as an entire package; as such there will be no offers of partial refunds for portions of a service that a guest has decided not to utilize.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

We recommend that you acquire your own  travel insurance to cover any cancellations and delays due to unforeseen circumstances, or those beyond all control that might cause the tour to be cancelled (flight/cruiseship cancellations/delays, personal illness). It is also recommended guests arrange medical and personal insurance to cover any medical expenses, loss of baggage, loss of personal belongings, or other such travel mishaps.

VALID IDENTIFICATION

Please make sure that all members of your party have a valid ID on them on the day of the visit. This is required for guests with a reduction on the ticket fee.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Any cancellation /amendment must be communicated via e-mail to: info@unicabcn.com Cancellation notifications by phone will not be accepted.

Cancellation fees applied by UNICA Barcelona tours:

- More than 72 hours before date of requested service: No penalty

- From 72 hours to 24 hours before date and time of requested service: 50% penalty

- Less than 24 hours and no show: 100 % penalty

Please note that for all tours including a Museum/ Art gallery / Church ticket, the tickets are not refundable.

If the tour is cancelled by customer because bad weather conditions there will be no refund.

PRICING INFORMATION

Our tours are sold in Euro currency and your credit card will be charged in Euro currency.

Rates do NOT include:

·      Client’s meals, drinks, snacks

·      Entrance fees (unless differently specified on the programs).

·      Taxi, subway and bus rides, if needed during a tour.

·      Paypal fees, if payment is via Paypal.

·      Gratuities.

·      Anything not expressly mentioned as included, unless differently specified on the programs.

TRANSFER

Clients booking a transfer or a tour that starts at the airport must contact UNICA Barcelona Tours emergency number or send us an email in case of flights delays, cancellations or rebookings . If customer won’t show up at the airport in a reasonable time (1 hour after the landing of the flight) or won’t nor inform us about the delay (lost luggage, long queus at the immigration etc) it will be considered as“no show”.

Customer has the responsability to provide UNICA Barcelona Tours the hotel/apartment’s name and address and to inform UNICA Barcelona Tours in case of any accomodation change.

If your Cruise-Ship can’t dock at the port at the scheduled time, due to bad whether or Cruise-Company reasons, clients have the responsibility to inform UNICA Barcelona Tours as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your request but we cannot guarantee that we always will be able to meet your requirements. 

If a site, attraction, or visit on your schedule tour service/itinerary is closed due to force majeure, including strikes or other unforeseen closures, UNICA Barcelona Tours will do its best to contact guests as soon as possible, and offer a suitable substitution, reschedule a different service, or provide a refund, pending availability and at full company discretion.

TOUR GUIDE CHANGES

UNICA Barcelona Tours reserves the right to change the guide, for internal schedule’s change.

CHANGE OF DATE

Date/Time changes will depend on our team’s availability, and might imply a tour guide change.  Please note that for all tours including a Museum/ Art gallery / Church ticket, in case of change of date, the tickets are not refundable. Refunds will only be granted in the event that, for unexpected reasons, the museum will happen to be on strike or closed.
